Hepatology and Liver Transplantation: Today and Tomorrow 2027 brings together leading experts to examine the latest advances transforming the care of patients with liver disease. Through dynamic lectures, case-based discussions, debates, and interactive breakout sessions, participants explore cutting-edge developments in liver transplantation, liver cancer, cirrhosis, acute and chronic liver failure, metabolic and cholestatic liver diseases, endohepatology, artificial intelligence, and digital health. Emphasizing multidisciplinary, patient-centered care, the program delivers practical, evidence-based strategies that clinicians can immediately apply to improve outcomes and navigate the evolving landscape of liver disease management.

Target Audience

This course is intended for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, primary care providers, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants specializing in gastroenterology and endocrinology. It may also be beneficial for other primary care professionals.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify current evidence-based approaches to the management of acute and chronic liver failure.
  • Identify emerging trends and evidence-based approaches in the diagnosis and management of MASLD, Met-ALD, liver cancer, and liver transplantation.
  • Explain innovations occurring in the management of liver diseases, including viral hepatitis and cholestatic liver diseases.
  • Discuss current new developments and team-based management of hepatology and in liver transplantation.
