  • Identify psychosocial, medical, and existential factors that increase suicide risk among individuals living with chronic or end stage illness.
  • Apply evidence informed assessment strategies to evaluate suicide risk while respecting patient autonomy, self-determination, and goals of care
  • Recognize the role of social workers and interdisciplinary teams in balancing patient safety, ethical practice, and compassionate end of life care.
