This course will provide the latest, state-of-the-art information on the diagnosis and management of common disorders such as achalasia, pelvic floor dysfunction, C. diff colitis, pancreatic disorders, colon cancer, IBD, hepatitis C and fatty liver disease. Course format will offer didactic lectures, panel discussions, Q & A sessions and interactive keypads. The intended audience includes gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, and mid-level health care providers.

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Identify risk factors of Barrett’s disease and upper GI track pathologies
  • Explain the challenges in managing patients with pelvic floor dysfunction

  • Apply the latest  management methods for IBD
  • Identify risk factors associated with infection in endoscopy
  • Diagnose and manage patients with pancreatitis
  • Assess the latest hepatitis C therapies and their efficacies
  • Identify common and emerging medication and supplement-induced liver injury syndromes
  • Assess current concepts in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)
  • Appraise current and novel therapy paradigms within the family of autoimmune liver disorders
  • Describe the applications of fecal transplantation in digestive health and diseases
