Palliative Care: Treating Common Symptoms in Late Stage Disease

This session will be an interactive, high energy, interactive workshop that explores state of the art symptom management for patients with late stage disease. This will include opioid pain management, dyspnea, nausea, anorexia, depression/anxiety/demoralization as well as tips for dealing with a potpourri of additional real-life clinical symptoms that patients with serious illness endure.
Target Audience
The target audience includes general internists, internal medicine subspecialists, family medicine physicians, and other primary health care providers.
