Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the different ACC/AHA stages of heart failure and understand progression along the heart failure spectrum
  • Describe the role of echocardiography in identifying patients at high risk of developing symptomatic heart failure
  • Review the use of multimodality imaging in heart failure prevention
