By the end of this conference, participants should be able to
- Apply quantitative aspects of inhaled agent and carrier gas uptake in clinical practice
- Describe why inhaled agent and carrier gas delivery needs to be automated
- Describe opioids differently affect the partial pressures of inhaled anesthetics needed for different clinical end-points
- Describe how modern technology incorporates or will incorporate the above concepts
- Translate quantitative concepts into cost calculations
