The Metastatic Breast Cancer Conference was established in 2014 as an annual medical conference for metastatic breast cancer by Theresa’s Research Foundation, with leadership from Dr. Matthew Ellis and Dr. Danny Welch. A specific focus on metastatic disease, based on a major, as yet, unmet clinical need (incurability); distinguishes this conference from other breast cancer-centered conferences. The goal of this conference is to bring together a diverse audience of experts in breast cancer care to create a collaborative research environment and accelerate research with a long-term goal of developing curative approaches for metastatic breast cancer patients.

Abstract Submission for oral presentation and posters is open. Top 5 rated abstracts will be selected for short oral presentation. Registration is required for accepted abstracts.

Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Integrate palliative care and end of life counseling in the treatment of patients with metastatic breast cancer.
- Implement evidence-based recommendations for treatment of metastatic breast cancer and its subtypes.
- Describe how clinical trials can help improve treatment of metastatic breast cancer.
- Discuss how drug resistance pathways can be applied to the treatment of metastatic breast cancer in order to improve outcomes and quality of life.
- Discuss how Biomarkers and genomic analysis can be applied to the treatment of metastatic breast cancer in order to improve outcomes and quality of life.

When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received.
