40th Annual Geriatric Care 2024 CNE Nursing Conference

This CNE conference is designed to provide an overview of advancements in caring for geriatric patient populations focusing on behavioral health, ethics & cultural care, medications, transitions, wound care, and more. Expert panels and case scenarios for questions and answers are also included.

Target Audience

This CNE conference is designed for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, social workers, nursing home administrators, nurse practitioners, and physicians providing care for geriatric patients in acute, long-term, and home care settings.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify strategies and services for managing behavioral health issues in the geriatric population.
  • Outline risk factors, side effects, and considerations in managing medications for the elderly.
  • Describe cultural and ethical principles when caring for the elderly patient.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Welcome to the 40th Annual Geriatric Care 2024 CNE Nursing Conference. Course materials will be available at the registration check-in an hour before the start of the conference or online.

Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cne@mayo.edu.

If the cancellation is made prior to the start of the activity, a refund less an administration fee of $25 will be issued. If the cancellation is made after the start of the activity, no refund will be issued. All refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment.
