This nursing conference is designed for registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, and other healthcare professionals interested in geriatric care.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Outline best practices for communication, sleep enhancement, and dementia care for the elderly patient
- Identify wellness and complementary medicine treatment options for elderly patients
- Describe ways for elderly patients to stay healthy and maintain sexuality
