Leadership Through Professional Governance

This online course consists of modules on shared and professional governance, leadership styles, transformational leadership, communication, leading change, building quality in nursing, recruitment and retention, and scholarly work of publishing and presenting.

 

Target Audience

This CNE course is designed for RNs serving in formal and informal nursing leadership roles.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify leadership styles, communication and change management strategies.
  • Outline components of professional and shared governance.
  • Describe how to build quality in nursing.
  • List recruitment and retention strategies.
