Mayo Clinic Hack for Health Innovation
The Mayo Clinic Hack for Health Innovation is an event that will engage an interdisciplinary team to accelerate innovation of medical solutions to solve every day issues. The goal for the event is to develop a minimal viable product (MVP) that will simplify processes and reduce friction for patients and staff. The primary theme is digital transformation with sub-themes about improving communication and streamlining documentation processes. This competitive event will include a grant for the top three projects to continue MVP development.
Non-exempt staff should seek supervisor approval for paid attendance at this event.
This event is limited to 60 participants (30 nurses and 30 physicians, allied health professionals and students). The system will allow you to register on a first come first serve basis.
Participants who enroll after the maximum is reached will automatically be placed on a waiting list and an email communication will be sent.

The event is designed for nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals and students who impact direct patient care.

Upon completion of the event, participants will be able to:
- Identify an everyday issue that can be addressed through a medical innovation
- Develop a minimal viable product
