Minimally Disruptive Medicine 2018

Rochester, MN US
October 2, 2018 to October 3, 2018

Course Directors: Victor M. Montori, M.D., Kasey R. Boehmer, M.P.H., Ph.D.

This is the third offering of this two-day intensive that gives participants a kind and careful frame for considering the provision of healthcare for patients with chronic conditions: Minimally Disruptive Medicine (MDM).  It is designed to provide participants both conceptual and practical knowledge of the topic and is divided into brief lectures and interactive workshop sessions. Lectures are intended to provide a conceptual overview of MDM and of our research work to-date. Interactive workshops focus on giving participants tools that they can use directly in their individual practice and as part of healthcare or research teams. Workshops provide space for conversations that consider practical steps to implement MDM tools and concepts into practice, and about ways to help develop MDM further.
