Pediatric Nursing 2021 Online CNE Conference
This online CNE conference is designed to provide education to nurses caring for pediatric patients in all care settings. Topics include eating disorders, autism spectrum disorder, addressing vaccine hesitancy, and care of transgender/gender non-conforming pediatric patients.
Target Audience
This online CNE conference is designed for nurses and other healthcare professionals who care for pediatric populations in acute, ambulatory, and community-based settings.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe health effects and behaviors seen with eating disorders in pediatric patients.
- Identify signs and symptoms of autism spectrum disorder.
- Outline methods to address vaccine hesitancy.
- Discuss the nurse's role and importance of gender-affirming care.
