| Depression is a common disorder seen in primary care practice. The majority of patients with depression are evaluated and treated not by psychiatrists, but by primary care providers, and it’s been shown that we correctly diagnose depression only about half of the time. Despite the fact that we have some very good treatment options for depression, those on treatment often have continued symptoms. To help us understand more about depression, we’re honored to have Dr. Bruce Sutor with us today. Dr. Sutor is a Mayo Clinic Psychiatrist and Practice Chair of Psychiatry and Psychology in Rochester, Minnesota. |
