DESCRIPTION
This series occurs monthly on Tuesday, Noon - 1 p.m. CST.

Oral Health Grand Rounds is hosted by Dental Specialties on the first Tuesday of each month, offering a one-hour, Zoom-based, CE opportunity for dental providers on the Mayo Clinic staff as well as community dental practices. 

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for Dentists, Allied Dental Staff, Physicians, Residents/Fellows, Students with an interest in this specialty.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Explain how to handle medical emergencies in the dental office.
  • Describe the role of ethics in the provision of dental care.
  • Identify which specialty is most appropriate for complex oral health care.
