Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Review the increasing incidence of HPV-mediated oropharyngeal cancer, particularly among non-smoker males
  2. Identify the signs of HPV-mediated oropharyngeal cancer, including persistent painless neck mass or tonsil asymmetry
  3. Describe the important role of the HPV vaccine in prevention of HPV-mediated oropharyngeal cancer, and learn the best way to communicate this to patients
