  • Identify key signs and indicators of child maltreatment and dental neglect that may be observed during routine clinical examinations.
  • Differentiate between accidental injuries and potential abuse-related findings.
  • Demonstrate appropriate response protocols, including documentation, mandatory reporting requirements, and interprofessional collaboration when child maltreatment or dental neglect is suspected.
