Workshop III: Office-Based Laryngology Procedures: Hands-on Lab

    This hands-on workshop will cover all aspects of laryngology office-based procedures. The first part of the course consists of technique discussion by experts in the field. Following the discussion, participants have the opportunity to get 1:1 training on the various procedures; including transnasal esophagoscopy, transnasal biopsy, vocal fold injection, office Botulinum toxin injections, and office KTP laser ablation. Mannequins and lasers will be available

     

     

    Learning Objectives

    Following attendance at this workshop, participants should be able to:

    • Evaluate optimal techniques for performing a variety of office-based procedures.
    • Identify methods and tools used to perform office-based procedures.
    • Assess when to use of an office-based procedure vs. surgery.
