Through this presentation the learner will increase their understanding regarding the current state of diversity in academic and clinical medicine.  The role of historical exclusion and bias will be examined as well as providing insight regarding present day opportunities for change.

  • Demonstrate challenges and opportunities influencing Diversity in Medicine.
  • Explore avenues for change.
