At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
- Recognize physical exam findings of severe aortic stenosis and separate from dynamic left ventricular outflow tract obstruction associated with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy.
- Discuss the indication for intervention for severe aortic stenosis and know how to assess candidacy for transcutaneous aortic valve implantation.
- Review the outcomes of recent trial data regarding transcutaneous valve implantation.
