T. Denny Sanford Pediatric Symposium: The Changing World of Pediatric Medicine 2019 - Live Webcast (no credit available)
This course is designed to meet the needs of regional clinicians in the primary care setting who care for infants, children and adolescents. The course will address recent breakthroughs in topics common to the pediatric age group as well as topics concerning to parents and primary care clinicians.
This course is designed for primary care providers, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, advance practice nurses, nurses and students who care for infants, children and adolescents.
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Incorporate medical information from reviews of common and rarely encountered clinical scenarios into the daily practice of pediatric and adolescent medicine.
- Describe newly developed therapies for the management of rare pediatric diseases, pediatric cancer and lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender medical and psychological needs.
- Implement effective clinical strategies for diagnosing and managing a wide array of challenging problems in clinical practice.
