DESCRIPTION
Pediatric Grand Rounds is our major departmental conference series in which our consultants and trainees learn about cutting-edge clinical practice across the field of pediatrics and related specialties. The goals of this activity are to provide critical clinical updates, improve patient care and stimulate research collaboration. Throughout this course, weekly presentations can be classified into one of several topic areas. Pediatric health care professionals will engage with leading experts, earn CME and stay at the forefront of pediatric care. We invite speakers from various institutions to discuss their field of expertise and promote research collaboration. Furthermore, Pediatric Grand Rounds incorporates our Professional Development Series aimed at improving the skills of our staff and trainee.

In-Person and Live-Streamed, Weekly on Friday from 12:10-12:55 p.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Resident Fellows, and Scientist Researcher PhDs. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Assess updates on treatment with a direct impact on patient care.
  • Recognize new research endeavors for pediatric patients.
  • Recognize new research activities within the department.
  • Identify new concepts regarding certain pediatric conditions.
  • Summarize new approaches to the treatment of certain pediatric conditions.
