DESCRIPTION
The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Education Conference is presented weekly by Mayo and guest non-Mayo faculty as well as by all of our PM&R trainees. Topics presented encompass a wide array of PM&R concepts ranging from basic science work to clinical case presentations to detailed clinical updates of state of art treatment of persons with functional limitations. 

In-Person and Live-Streamed; Weekly on Monday from 12:10-1:00 p.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Athletic Trainers, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Resident Fellows, Speech Language Pathologists, Students, and Therapy Technicians

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify emerging research and evidence-based practices in PM&R-related disorders to improve patient outcomes and reduce long-term impairment.
  • Develop skills to frame appropriate clinical questions and translate practice-based challenges into research or quality improvement initiatives.
