Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Categorize patellofemoral pain as overuse/overload, movement coordination deficits, muscle performance deficits, or mobility impairments according to Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  2. Recognize that patients managed with guideline-adherent care are more likely to achieve clinically meaningful improvements at both 1 and 3 months, as measured by patient-reported outcomes.
  3. Prescribe/recommend specific components of clinical practice guidelines-adherent interventions based on patient's category of patellofemoral pain.
  4. Review the pathophysiology and epidemiology of CRPS.
  5. Identify non-invasive treatment and modalities of CRPS.
  6. Compare the efficacy of rehabilitation techniques for pain management and function in CRPS.
