Title: "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go: Rehab's Role in Treating Disorders of Consciousness"

Learning Objectives:

1. Review etiology of severe TBI and common assessment tools.

2. Describe the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to treatment of patients with disorders of consciousness.

3. Describe what the rehab team can offer in the areas of assessment, prevention, and recovery.

4. Recognize the benefits of family education and be able to identify appropriate resources.
