  • Define Gender Identity and differentiate it from Gender Role/Expression and Sexual Orientaiton.
  • Describe the most common outcomes for a gender non-conforming young child in terms of future gender identity.

  • Recognize predictors of persisting/enduring Gender Dysphoria

  • Describe how stigma and prejudie impact patient, family and caregiver attitudes towards working with gender non-conforming youth.

  • Recognize the complexities of gender non-binary/gender-fluid youth and potential challenges posed to clinicians and parents.

  • Recognize how ASD impacts clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment interventions.
