Jarrod Leffler, Ph.D., L.P.


Introduction

Jarrod M. Leffler, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and the director of the Child and Adolescent Integrated Mood Program (CAIMP), and Pediatric Transitions Program, and co-director of the Pediatric Mood Clinic.  Dr. Leffler works with children and adolescents diagnosed with bipolar and depressive disorders and other complex mental health disorders and their families. Dr. Leffler’s research interests focus on biological and psychotherapeutic topics related to pediatric mood disorders.  He has published in peer reviewed journals, and he has co-authored books including “Psychotherapy for Children with Bipolar and Depressive Disorders,” “Individual-Family Psychoeducational Psychotherapy” and “Multi-Family Psychoeducational Psychotherapy Child Workbook.” Dr. Leffler is recipient of Mayo Clinic’s Teacher of the Year for Psychology Award and the American Board of Professional Psychology’s inaugural Early Career Psychology Service Award and has been recognized for his program development activities and role in diversity and inclusion efforts.
