Introduction
Kristin S. Vickers Douglas, Ph.D., ABPP, LP, is a Professor of Psychology and Co-Chair of Education in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic. For the last 15 years she has directed the Patient Education Research Program, and is Medical Director of Healthy Living Wellness Coaching Program. Her clinical work is in the primary care setting within a multidisciplinary care team. Across these roles, she studies and teaches motivation, collaboration, and change. She is a great believer of context and enjoys weird people.
