Percutaneous Tracheostomy 2018 - June 15 - 1:00pm - 5:00pm - Mayo Clinic Campus - Stabile Building
Percutaneous bedside tracheostomy placement offers certain advantages over surgical tracheostomy placement in selected patients. This four-hour hands-on course is designed to familiarize the learner with the basic technique of ultrasound and bronchoscope-directed percutaneous tracheostomy placement using a human cadaver model.
This course is designed for Physicians and care providers who care for patients with disorders of the larynx, pharynx, esophagus, and lungs. This course is designed to provide education for otolaryngologists, gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons for example.
In support of improving patient care, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
