Pharmacogenomics (PGx), the study of how genes may affect an individual’s response to medication, has reached the translational stage for various specialties in medicine. This pre-course session covers relevant topics in pharmacogenomics and its practical application in a clinical setting. Speakers with experience leading the application of pharmacogenomics will provide instruction, experience, and practical guidance on a range of topics including case studies.  An optional luncheon session will provide an opportunity to discuss any clinical PGx questions with the faculty.

The poster session reception is an integral part of the Individualizing Medicine conference. The review committee is looking for the best and brightest research and innovation in precision oncology and immunotherapy.   Key to this year's poster session will be innovative use of research, and also application of that research into practice.  The poster session will be held Friday, September 20 at 5:45 pm.
