While many communication techniques exist to help navigate any variety of scenarios - motivational interviewing, SPIKES, crucial conversations, serious illness conversation guide, relationship-centered communication, conflict and negotiation, etc. - it is challenging for the clinician to master all of these various techniques. In this 4 hour workshop we will distill down the fundamental skills that underlie these various techniques and provide clinicians with a set of communication fundamentals applicable to nearly all communication scenarios.
