The 22nd Mayo Clinic Urogynecology and Disorders of the Female Pelvic Floor will present the latest treatments for urogynecology, female urology and pelvic floor disorders. Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate advanced techniques in laparoscopic and robotic surgery
- Demonstrate minimally invasive techniques for the management of urinary incontinence
- Identify surgical complications of incontinence and prolapse surgery
- Demonstrate ureteral dissection and identify minimally invasive management options for ureteral repair
- Explain the use of botulinum toxin injections to manage bladder overactivity
- Integrate additional anatomic detail into management of pelvic floor dysfunction
- Explain the use of and demonstrate how sacral nerve stimulation is used to provide management of fecal incontinence
- Identify evidence-based research on synthetic and non-synthetic materials used in the operative management of pelvic floor prolapse
- Demonstrate advanced vaginal surgery techniques
