The Pelvic Pain and Integrative health workshop addresses movement testing and palpation to assess possible musculoskeletal contributors to your patient’s pelvic pain. This will include a quick screen of the low back and hips, sacroiliac joint provocation testing, and a more detailed pelvic floor examination. We will practice palpation and identification of the pelvic floor muscles, which is an essential part of the evaluation of the patient with pelvic pain. Simulation and cadaver models may be available for hands-on teaching of the techniques. Finally, discussion of different tools that may be helpful in managing patients with painful sex will be discussed. Enroll early as enrollment is limited to 20. This workshop will be held at the resort.
