Anesthesia Grand Rounds are held every Monday at 6:45 a.m. in Room MCH 1-115.

Topic:  Massive Blood Transfusion and Epic Update

Objectives: 

  • Define MBT and its role in our anesthesia practice
  • Demonstrate how to initiate MBT in Epic
  • Describe how blood verification during MBT differs from the normal situation
  • Demonstrate MBT charting in Epic
  • Summarize other Epic-related issues in our practice
