Topic: Morbidity & Mortality: Reviewing Untoward Events in our Anesthesia Practice Brief Update on the Acute Stroke/Thrombectomy Process
Objectives:
- Review practical considerations for acute airway obstruction including tube dislodgment /misplacement from the normal situation.
- Identify potential sources of foreign bodies in patient airways.
- Summarize the progress that has been made in organizing an acute stroke/thrombectomy pathway.
