The Mayo Clinic Mechanical Ventilation Conference provides high-quality education and hands-on instruction in mechanical ventilation management for healthcare providers. The course covers Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) management, focusing on controlled vs. spontaneous ventilation strategies and case-based discussions to improve clinical decision-making.
With the new Global ARDS definition, the course includes advanced diagnostic technologies like ultrasound for early detection and precise characterization of ARDS. Emphasis is placed on integrating these technologies into clinical workflows according to evidence-based guidelines.
