Title:  Impact of left ventricular longitudinal function on prognosis in patients with moderate aortic stenosis and preserved left ventricular ejection fraction

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify that peak PFO velocity during systole is valuable for estimating left atrial pressure
  • Elevated INR conveys a small increase in risk for hemorrhagic complications in pericardiocentesis. However, absolute complication rates remain below 3%
  • To assess the impact of AVR on mitral valve hemodynamics and mitral annulus distension in patients with aortic and mitral stenosis
  • To investigate prognostic value of GLS in patients with moderate AS and preserved LVEF
