Target Audience

This course is designed for general internists, hospitalists, family practitioners, and allied health staff.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize common ECG patterns
  • Review serious hearth rhythm disorders
  • Discuss sudden death risk factors in high risk patients
  • Describe current guidelines for the management of hearth rhythm disorders
  • Identify and analyze the latest scientific advances and innovations in the field of heart rhythm disorders
  • Select appropriate, evidence-directed pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies to achieve optimal outcomes for patients with heart rhythm disorders
