  1. Describe the principles of initial fracture care and immobilization using fracture terminology (Domain 2, Task:0204 &0205)

  2. Discuss basic guidelines for referral (Domain 3, Task 0302)

  3. Describe the components of an effective splint/cast (Domain 4, Task 0404)

  4. Describe various fracture patterns and deforming forces and how this relates to treatment options (Domain 2, Task: 0203, 0205)

  5. Discuss the basic technique of a sugartong forearm splint/short arm cast (Domain 4, Task 0404)
