Topic:  Concussion Evaluation and Management

All participants MUST complete all of the following tasks in order to get BOC Credit.

1) Sign the sign-in sheet at the actual session.
2) Text the CODE announced at the session within 48 hours to (507) 200-3010.
3) Login at ce.mayo.edu and go to My Account, My Courses, Registered Courses, click Session title and START to access and complete the required Evaluation. This should be done within a few days, or you may risk not being eligible for credit.
 

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the key components of a concussion evaluation. (Domain 2: Task 0201, 0202, & 0205; Domain 3: Task 0302)
  • Describe the key components of concussion management, including the return to participation process. (Domain 1: Task 0101; Domain 2: Task 0204 & 0205; Domain 5: Task 0502 & 0503)
  • Explain what the latest research and trends are for managing concussions (Domain 1: Task 0102; Domain 2: Task 0205; Domain 3: Task 0301)

BOC Accreditation
