Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the clinical, laboratory, and molecular features of bone marrow failure syndromes and distinguish among major diagnostic entities
- Apply risk stratification tools and molecular data (including TP53 status) to guide treatment selection in myelodysplastic syndromes
- Select appropriate therapeutic strategies for MDS and AML across disease stages, including management after hypomethylating agent failure and in relapsed/refractory AML
- Evaluate induction approaches and emerging therapies in acute leukemias, incorporating patient-specific and disease-specific factors
- Compare treatment approaches in ALL, including chemo-free regimens, allogeneic transplant, and CAR-T therapy, and integrate pediatric-informed strategies into adult care
- Manage myeloproliferative neoplasms using evidence-based therapies, including treatment selection in polycythemia vera, myelofibrosis, and TKI intolerance in CML
- Integrate molecular testing, minimal residual disease (MRD) assessment, and recognition of CHIP/CCUS into clinical practice, and manage key complications of allogeneic transplantation
