This 1.5-day advanced cadaveric surgical skills course is designed for surgeons seeking to expand beyond the foundational techniques of upper limb spasticity surgery. Through a focused blend of expert didactic instruction and intensive hands-on cadaver laboratory training, participants will explore contemporary and emerging reconstructive strategies for complex spastic upper limb deformities, with particular emphasis on advanced tendon transfers, nerve transfers, and joint-stabilizing procedures.

The course will highlight thoughtful patient and procedure selection, technical execution, and integration of complementary reconstructive techniques, providing participants with practical exposure to cutting-edge approaches intended to restore balance, improve positioning, and optimize upper-extremity function. It is expected that participants will have a thorough understanding of basic principles in the surgical management of the spastic upper limb.
