Preventing, controlling, and treating emerging infections continue to be an essential focus for clinicians, infection control and public health practitioners, and laboratorians. This continuing education conference in its 33rd year, provides a forum for expert presentations and discussions on the epidemiology, prevention, and control of emerging infectious diseases. Topics include vaccine confidence, PrEP, measles and its complications, genitourinary infections and new drugs, point-of-care testing for high-consequence infectious diseases, access to infectious diseases care and telehealth, and public health "hot topics."

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the clinical presentation and complications of measles and recognize the public health implications of its resurgence.
- Evaluate point-of-care testing approaches for high-consequence infectious diseases (HCID), including test targets, turnaround time, and limitations.
- Apply current strategies to strengthen vaccine confidence and assess evolving approaches to PrEP and the treatment of genitourinary infections.
