Intensive Training for Robotic Surgery Assisting - March 21, 2026

This course is a one-day intensive course meticulously engineered for experienced surgical assisting professionals (SA, PA/NP, RNFA). This program moves beyond basic operation, focusing intensely on the principles of accuracy, efficiency, and critical knowledge required of an expert assistant. Participants will engage with leading robotic experts through high-fidelity simulation labs and live demonstrations, solidifying their understanding of the surgical robotic system. The curriculum is structured to ensure direct, hands-on experience and a focus on measurable efficiency and accuracy metrics driving participants toward surgical assisting mastery.
This course offers American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) continuing education credits and Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) continuing education credits.
Target Audience
This course is designed for surgical assistants, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and registered nurse first assistant helping in robotic surgery.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Identify parts of the surgical robot and their function.
2. Describe the role of the surgical assistant during a robotic surgery.
3. Demonstrate proper use of the surgical robot in case scenarios.
