Mayo Clinic's Regenerative Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation Conference is a 3-day course that provides attendees the fundamental principles, tools, and platforms of regenerative nephrology and transplantation as well as how current techniques and technologies are being used to provide regenerative solutions to patients. Participants will be given examples of new technological advances to bring discovery into the field of nephrology and transplantation and develop means to enhance diversity and inclusion in clinical trials to improve reach.

 

Target Audience

Physicians, Physican Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse, Residents, Fellows. Students, Scientists in the fields of Regenerative Medicine, Nephrology, and Transplant Medicine

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Summarize regenerative medicine principles as they relate to the specialized focus in nephrology and kidney transplantation
2. Describe the fundamental principles, tools, and platforms of regenerative nephrology and kidney transplantation
3. Give examples of new technological advances to bring discovery into the field of nephrology and kidney transplantation
4. Define the regulatory process leading to clinical utilization of regenerative therapeutics
5. Describe how current regenerative medicine techniques are being used to provide innovative solutions to patient needs
