This three-day symposium is designed to provide the latest diagnostic and treatment strategies for comprehensive vascular and wound management. The program is multidisciplinary with faculty representing vascular diseases and/or wounds. Multiple educational formats are used, including didactic sessions, interactive panel discussions, and case presentations that offer comprehensive vascular and wound-management strategies (from basics to high-level). This symposium meets the continuing education needs of a range of vascular and wound care providers, from novices to experts.
Scholarship submission for Mayo Clinic Vascular and Wound Symposium 2026
A limited number of scholarships will be awarded to selected active student learners who are currently enrolled in a training program. Scholarships will be provided to offer a discounted registration fee. Those interested in receiving a scholarship are required to submit a brief 1 paragraph essay explaining the importance and relevance of attending this symposium. Essays will be reviewed, and scholarship recipients determined by the course directors. This is a two-step process: 1) Submit your essay here. 2) After essays are reviewed and accepted, details will be provided to recipients on how to register. The deadline for submission is December 1, 2025.

Target Audience
This multidisciplinary symposium is intended for healthcare professionals who care for patients with vascular conditions and/or wounds. Disciplines include physicians, pedorthists, podiatrists, advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs), WOCs, CNSs, RNs, LPNs, physical therapists, dietitians, medical trainees (medical students, residents, fellows, etc.) and others who care for patients with vascular conditions and/or wounds.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss diagnostic approaches and management of lower extremity ulcerations in the setting of diabetes mellitus, peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, and lymphatic dysfunction.
- Identify surgical, medical management and wound-specific treatment modalities for complex wounds.
- Provide interdisciplinary education to improve holistic care of wound and vascular patients.

A limited number of guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests with special course rates at the We-Ko-Pa Resort. In order to receive the special rate, starting at $219, (plus applicable taxes and fees), reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before the cutoff date of February 1, 2026, or whichever comes first.
