This in-person, multidisciplinary, interactive workshop is an introduction to procedural simulation in healthcare. Built on sound theoretical foundations of psychomotor skills development, standards of practice and research, this workshop will prepare participants to plan, design, implement, assess and provide effective feedback for procedural skills using simulation. Enrollment is limited to smaller group to encourage maximum engagement of all participants.

Mayo Clinic's 27th Edition “Teach the Teachers” Advanced Elbow Surgical Skills Course Forge the Future: Arthroscopy is an advanced level course designed for orthopedic surgeons with a special interest in upper extremity trauma, elbow surgery and trauma surgery. The course provides technical skills orientation, with the didactic portions limited to the necessary introductions and theoretical knowledge required for the technical components. Live surgical broadcasts used during lecture sessions demonstrate surgical techniques pertaining to this year's topic of arthroscopy as well as other areas of elbow orthopedics. Epilepsy treatment using stimulation therapies is a rapidly developing field of practice. Many established neurologists and neurosurgeons are not familiar with the latest technological and surgical advances. For example, providers may not be clear when invasive versus noninvasive therapies for epilepsy treatment are most appropriate or what options exist. Similarly, practitioners may not know how or when to apply vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) versus responsive neurostimulation (RNS) versus deep stimulation (DBS).
