• Describe the presentation and prognosis of patients with cardiogenic shock
• Identify the indications for the use of acute mechanical circulatory support devices
• Compare the indications, contradictions, complications, and capabilities of currently available temporary mechanical support devices and medical therapies for cardiogenic shock at MCF
