Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the organ donation process.
- Define the key team members needed in the organ donor process.
- Identify the importance of ethical and legal considerations surrounding organ donation.
- Develop empathetic communication skills in discussing organ donation with patients.
- Summarize the medical criteria for assessing donor eligibility, procurement, preservation, and transplantation.
