Anticoagulation Pearls for Neurology Critical Care: Selection of Appropriate Anticoagulation Post-Stroke and Reversal of Anti-Coagulation in Intracranial Emergencies Workshop Description:
Pharmacotherapy workshops are designed for all medical providers (RNs, ARNP/PA, Pharmacists, and Physicians) who provide care for patients with neurological emergencies including anticoagulation and reversal in intracranial hemorrhage. The pharmacotherapy workshop emphasizes practical case-based management of patients requiring anticoagulation after stroke and anticoagulation reversal in neurological emergencies. The workshop focuses on drug pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, dosages and administration, clinically relevant drug-drug interactions, special considerations (geriatrics, hepatic failure, etc) and other clinical pearls. Learners will review medical knowledge and review patient-care protocols needed to care for these patient populations.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cme@mayo.edu. When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.
